12 Days of Corkmas: Cork Strings Of Garland

On the 11th day of Corkmas my true love gave to me, 11 strings of garland, 10 snowflakes falling, 9 hiding elves, 8 bells a ringing, 7 candy canes, 6 ornaments, 5 angels with wings, four cork snowmen, three cork reindeer, two cork wreaths, and a wine cork Christmas tree.

This year at Bangor Cork, we are ringing in the season in a corky way! On the 12 days leading up to Christmas, we will be posting cork craft ideas for you to share with your family this holiday season. Make sure to check back tomorrow for the last day of the #12DaysofCorkmas

Materials

  • Wine corks
  • Beads (color of your choice)
  • Roll of wire
  • Drill bit (optional)

Create Your DIY Wine Cork Garland

  1. Take your roll of wire and push it through your wine cork (if your string is not thick or stiff enough, you may need to drill holes into your cork so the wire can go through)
  2. Thread the wire through a bead, or two (up to you how many you’d like)
  3. Then, add another wine cork, and so on and so forth
