BangorCork's 1.5mm cork roll is the thinnest commercially practical thickness in the cork roll range — ideal for applications where flexibility, coverage, and minimal profile matter more than pin depth or insulation. At approximately 1/16 inch thick, this cork is the standard choice for shelf and drawer liners, coaster backing material, protecting desk surfaces, and thin decorative wall accents. Its flexibility makes it easy to cut with scissors or a craft knife, wrap around curved surfaces, and adhere with standard contact cement or self-adhesive backing. Not recommended as a pin surface — pushpins will penetrate through to the wall behind. For pinning use cases, step up to 3mm or 6mm.
