Stenciled Cork Board

If you want to turn your corkboard into a uniquely stenciled work of art, all you need are a few tools and some basic stencil skills.

Items Needed:

• Cork Board
• Stencils
• Foam rollers for each color
• Stencil brushes
• Latex or acrylic paint
• Large Styrofoam plates
• Painter’s tape
• Paper towels

Directions

Step 1: Tape off the edges of the corkboard

Step 2: Pour paint onto the paper plate, load the roller and begin painting the frame

• • Use paper towel to remove excess paint before applying

Step 3: Remove border tape and apply the stencil

• • Apply painter's tape around the edges of the stencil

Step 4: Use light/medium pressure, and begin rolling with the foam roller (Apply 2 coats)

Step 5: Remove the stencil and continue process until reaching the border
